Enhancing the Ambience

We have put a lot of effort into making our store feel like you’re in an aviation environment, from the flight departure board to the entry into the cockpit via a replica aircraft cabin. While these alone will help you feel like you’re about to fly a real aircraft, there is one additional item that is unique to our store, something that gives it that special airline touch: our chairs.

 

 

 

These chairs are the real thing, taken from an ex-Ansett Airlines 737 at the time that airline shut down operations. They have been lovingly refurbished and are now serving as seats for our customers to use while they wait for their flight to depart.

We believe they add a certain realism and our customers certainly enjoy sitting in them. You can almost believe you’re on board a flight, sitting amongst the other passengers when the call comes out: “Is anyone here able to help fly the plane?”
