Check out our new YouTube channel that we’ve set up for you to enjoy. Right now we’re uploading some client testimonials like this one:
We also plan to include some in-cockpit videos that demonstrate some of the famous flights our simulator has to offer, including the right hand turn approach into Hong Kong’s old Kai Tak airport, the RNP approach to Queenstown, Las Vegas by night and much more.
The Flight Experience replica Boeing 737-800 cockpit is the only entertainment flight simulator that has been approved by Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) to allow private and commercial pilots to log official flying hours.
How would you like to demonstrate your mastery of our 737 flight simulator by flying it solo? Or perhaps taking your friends for a flight, showing them what it’s like to be Captain of a commercial jet liner as you fly it to airports around the world? If you want to have more than just a single flight experience then you should join our Flying Club.
We are pleased to announce that when you purchase a voucher for any of our Flight Simulator Packages, we will include a 2010 Calendar from Boeing valued at $29 each. They look great on your wall and are perfect for enhancing the presence of the voucher if you’re purchasing one as a gift.
The calendars are available until the end of March or while stocks last. Calendars must be picked up from our store. State promo code ’calendar2010′
At the end of January, we opened up our simulator to our Facebook fans able to get to Melbourne CBD for the duration of the open night. In addition to flights in the simulator, the event featured drinks, nibbles, instructors to chat with and the guys from the Plane Crazy Down Under podcast who were interviewing attendees.
We’re having an open night for some of our Facebook fans!
It’s from 6pm to 10pm on January 27th and will be held at our flight simulator in the QV building here in Melbourne. We’ll be providing soft drinks & nibbles and 20 lucky people will get a free 10 minute session in the simulator.
Christmas is almost on us and, if you’re like many people, you’ve still got a few presents to buy and your stress levels are inching up as time runs out. So don’t be like everyone else, get a present that’s unique and very distinctive: buy a Flight Experience voucher.
You can call us on 03 9650 0737 or visit us at our simulator in Melbourne city. Vouchers are available for all our Flight Packages, allowing you to tailor your spend to match your funds available.
If you order your voucher before 10:30am, we can give you same day delivery if you want. You’d better get in quick, though, as Christmas is certainly not far away now.
Have you ever wanted to take your family up to the cockpit and show them what it’s like? Believe it or not, many airline pilots want to do the same thing but cannot.
Due to the many security measures introduced over the past few years, pilots are unable to take their family members into “the office” so they can experience flying a commercial jet airliner.
Due to the high level of demand for sessions in our 737 Flight Simulator, we have extended the hours of operation at Flight Experience Melbourne in the QV building. During the months of October & November, you can now book your flights within the following times:
Many people are interested in just seeing what the inside of a 737 cockpit looks like. Some want to check out our simulator before they commit to buying one of our Flight Packages.
If you’re in the city and want to have a look at our simulator, the best time to drop by is between 2pm and 3pm every day. This is when our instructors take their lunch breaks, so the simulator is generally not being used and one instructor is always on hand to let you have a look inside.
While visiting the simulator, you can also check out our wide range of merchandise available, including clothing, books, aircraft models and cockpit DVDs.
