As part of our involvement with Melbourne’s 2009 Moomba Water Festival we sponsored some prizes in the Moomba Birdman Rally.
This hilarious event has contestants launching from a ramp above Melbourne’s Yarra River in an attempt to fly the furthest, all while wearing a variety of outfits and/or attempts at vaguely aeronautical equipment.
In addition to their travel prizes, the winner and two runners up received 90 minute, 60 minute and 30 minute flight packages respectively.
